Our host Ricardo Burt sits down with Cat Park, Director of Ten Letter PR & Radio, to talk about how emerging artists can promote their upcoming projects and use press, PR and radio to make the most out of their releases.

About Cat Park

Cat Park has been a key figure within the British Black Music scene for over 15 years. Having managed the seminal UK television for urban music, Channel U/AKA for 6 years, Cat played a role in establishing the thriving music scene of today. Spotting talent at a very early stage of their career and giving them support, she helped to promote the likes of Tinie Tempah, Chip, Wretch 32, N-Dubz, Skepta, Devlin and many more to a nationwide network, helping their breakthrough to the mainstream.

In September 2012, Cat successfully launched Ten Letter PR. Using her music experience and connections, the company was designed to bridge the gap between the emerging acts and the mainstream. Cat wanted to use her wealth of expertise, industry experience and extensive network of contacts to drive emerging talent forward. The company was also designed to offer consultancy and campaign management to help deliver successful music campaigns. Cat added to her business portfolio in August 2017 by successfully launching Ten Letter Radio, a separate radio plugging company that focusses solely on radio promotions.

Remaining a champion of the Black Music scene both within the UK and internationally, thanks to the teams passionate understanding of the artists and labels they works with, Ten Letter has become the trusted PR and Radio company with both independent and upcoming artists/labels looking to break the UK. Covering radio, online and press, Ten Letter offers a full service with a dedicated team and has played a role in the journeys of Mist, Bugzy Malone, Yxng Bane, Tion Wayne, Kida Kudz, the late Cadet, Boy Better Know, Poundz and D Block Europe, as well as international artists including Seyi Shay, DJ Spinall, Mr Eazi, Kizz Daniel, Olamide and Davido.
